To mount or not to mount...

We discovered the world of unmounted stamps in 2004.  Here at the Outpost, space is pretty tight, and finding storage for the hundreds of stamps we bought BEFORE we started making our own was troublesome.  

Unmounted gives us the freedom to fill up that space that would have been crowded with wood mounted stamps with other sundries.  LOTS of other sundries.

Unmounted stamps also provide a lower cost alternative for artists.  The price of unmounted rubber is often times less than HALF what you would pay for something that is mounted. 

Mounting Your Own:

It is not necessary to mount our stamps to get a good impression. However, we have provided instructions below on how to use EZ Mount to provide a cushion mounting to our unmounted stamps.
